What you will do

• Lead solution design for the highest-complexity initiatives across both product and platform domains.
• Design and ship AI-powered features into production that demonstrate real customer value.
• Own and deliver critical modernization efforts spanning service decomposition, event-driven architecture, and data migration.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, review guidelines, and architectural patterns across all engineering teams.
• Serve as the connective tissue between product engineering and platform engineering, ensuring shared services are designed for reuse.
• Directly mentor Technical Leads across product and platform domains on architecture, engineering craft, and AI-native development.

Requirements

• Experience building and shipping AI-powered features or products in production, understanding the full lifecycle from model selection to deployment and iteration.
• Deep technical craft, writing production code daily and providing concrete implementation guidance.
• Full-stack fluency across backend and frontend, understanding APIs, event-driven architecture, and data flow through complex systems.
• Experience designing and shipping systems serving significant traffic, understanding architectural tradeoffs.
• Comfortable moving between product delivery and platform infrastructure, ensuring they evolve in lockstep.
• Personal use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) with demonstrable productivity gains.

• Ability to walk through an AI-powered product you shipped in production, including lessons learned.
• Recent commits, PRs, or open-source contributions demonstrating your craft.
• A strong, experience-backed opinion on how AI changes software design and building.
• Demonstrated specific AI-assisted development workflow that multiplied your output.
• Experience navigating the tension between speed-to-market and platform investment across product and infrastructure domains.
• Background in e-commerce, legal tech, fintech, or compliance-heavy industries.
