Location: Hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site in Toronto, Canada

What you will do

• Produce high-quality product documentation, release notes, and API documentation.
• Develop deep product knowledge by researching and partnering with subject matter experts.
• Adhere to writing team standards, processes, and best practices with a modern, conversational voice.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and UX designers within the software development process.
• Tailor documentation to intended audiences and advocate for the customer.
• Independently manage documentation projects.

Requirements

• Experience with DITA/XML and structured authoring.
• Demonstrated understanding of topic-based authoring and reusable information architecture.
• Excellent writing skills, including thoughtful information hierarchy and professional voice.
• User-centric focus on customer needs.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and process appreciation.
• Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating ability to simplify complex technical subjects.
• Work on-site 2-3 days per week in Toronto, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience using Oxygen XML Editor.
• Familiarity with a docs-as-code model or using Git for documentation source control.
• Knowledge of and experience with cybersecurity.
• Experience with Component Content Management Systems.
