React Native Engineer

Location: This role is primarily based in our offices in **Vilnius** (requiring 4 days onsite and 1 flexible remote day), **Kaunas**, **Klaipėda** (Lithuania), and **Riga** (Latvia). Candidates are expected to be based in **Europe**.

Salary: 3,400–5,000 EUR/month (Gross)

What you will do

• Build and evolve React Native mobile applications from idea to release, focusing on performance, stability, and UX.
• Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, and Backend teams to translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive user flows.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features: planning, implementation, testing, release, and post-launch improvements.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that keep the codebase clean and scalable.
• Optimize app speed, memory usage, and responsiveness across a wide range of devices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, improve monitoring, and ensure a smooth experience for all users.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building mobile apps with React Native in production.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern React patterns (hooks, context, functional components).
• Experience with state management and data layers such as Redux Toolkit, React Query, or Zustand.
• Confidence working with navigation solutions (React Navigation or equivalent).
• Understanding of mobile performance best practices and how to profile/optimize apps.
• Familiarity with native build/release workflows for iOS and Android (CI/CD, App Store / Google Play).
• Solid grasp of UX principles and the ability to implement pixel-perfect, user-friendly interfaces.
• Experience writing tests (unit/integration/e2e) and maintaining reliable code.

Nice to have

• Native iOS/Android experience.
• Animations with Reanimated.
• Experience with apps with large user bases or building Node.js backend services.
