Location: Remote (United Kingdom, Portugal). The team has members in the UK, Spain, Portugal, and the US.

What you will do

• Collaborate with cyber-security, data engineers, product managers, and tech leadership to ensure game integrity.
• Design and optimize high-load backend services using .NET/C# on AWS infrastructure.
• Work on a Unity mobile game client and integrate backend solutions with it.
• Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline and monitoring systems.
• Develop and implement data-driven solutions in collaboration with data engineers/scientists.
• Create captivating new experiences for +10M daily active users on Monopoly GO!

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (preferably C#/.NET or willingness to learn it).
• Fundamental understanding of Unity or similar game engines.
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and services like DynamoDB, Redis, and EC2.
• Good understanding of distributed systems fundamentals (concurrency, latency).
• Experience collaborating with game design and product disciplines, including writing documentation.
• An interest in cybersecurity, game integrity, and anti-cheat systems.
