Senior Service Designer

TL;DR

Senior Service Designer: Leading service design operations to deliver exceptional service experiences for private insurance customers with an accent on customer journey management and business process streamlining. Focus on embedding design thinking into development, shaping services that meet customer needs, and leading strategic service design projects.

Location: Hybrid workplace (three days at the office per week required) in Helsinki (Espoo), Turku, or Stockholm (Bergshamra). Occasional travel within the Nordic countries.

What you will do

• Guide and support tribes and squads in applying customer-centric practices using service design and research methods.
• Oversee customer journey management at the tribe level, identifying opportunities to enhance service experiences and streamline business processes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the agile and line organization to embed design thinking into development and decision-making.
• Lead strategic service design projects from early planning and concept development through to implementation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in service design, either in-house or in consultancy roles.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in design or a relevant degree in service design, design management, or a related subject.
• Deep knowledge of service design techniques and customer research methodologies.
• Familiarity with agile principles and previous experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary team.
• Experience leading complex, user-centered design projects and mapping complex problems into actionable insights.
• Professional proficiency in English.
