Backend Engineer (Java/.NET Integrations)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain integration services between hirify.global and 3rd party systems.
• Develop scalable, performant, and reliable backend components and services using Java/Kotlin and/or .NET.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to build cohesive end-to-end user journeys.
• Contribute to shared integration architecture and tooling.
• Take ownership of how integrations are designed, built, and scaled.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and alignment with best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend software development with Java/Kotlin, and demonstrable capability to work with .NET technologies.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, integration patterns, and microservice architecture.
• Strong experience integrating with Microsoft 365 or SharePoint technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based systems (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Exposure to React/Typescript.
