What you will do

• Monitor security alerts and events across SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Lead incident response efforts, including triage, root cause analysis, containment, and recovery.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting and lead red team exercises to simulate real-world attacks.
• Coordinate vulnerability scanning, prioritize risks, and ensure timely patch management.
• Perform internal penetration tests and collaborate with external security testers to remediate weaknesses.
• Define and track security KPIs and monitor compliance with internal policies and global standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• English: B2 or C1 level required to work efficiently in a multi-national environment.
• Hands-on experience with EDR, SOAR, SIEM platforms, and penetration testing frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
• Must be based in Bogotá, Colombia for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
