Salary: CAD 116,000–142,000 per year

What you will do

• Prototype new ideas quickly and refine them into polished, high-quality code.
• Maintain a simple and effective code architecture.
• Design and maintain game and meta-game systems following shared coding standards.
• Provide mentorship and support for less experienced developers.
• Collaborate closely with the team to implement game features players will love.
• Optimize the game for a smooth, high-performance experience on mobile.
• Build multiplatform UI and features that look and feel great across different devices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial game programming experience.
• At least 3 years building games within the Unity engine.
• Strong programming skills with C#.
• Experience with writing Unity Editor Tools to facilitate work for the Game Design team.
• Experience working with platform-specific SDKs.
• Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance optimizations.
• Good understanding of mobile platforms and hardware.
• Experience working with Apple’s GameKit and other Apple APIs.
• Experience porting games to Nintendo Switch.

Nice to have

• Experience working with server developers and integrating backend services into mobile games.
• Familiarity with cloud computing, especially AWS.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell for task automation.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
