What you will do

• Design simple, extensible, and maintainable high-quality code solutions.
• Lead design, implementation, and code reviews for Minecraft Scripting.
• Leverage data to detect, diagnose problems, and validate solutions.
• Engage with studio teams for project planning and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure consistent, maintainable unit and functional tests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent.
• Proficiency in coding languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• 3+ years of experience developing in C++, preferably cross-platform.
• Experience in modern web-based UI technologies such as React.
• Knowledge of the architecture and development of modern game engines.
• Must be able to work on-site in Redmond, Washington, United States.

Nice to have

• Previous shipped video game titles as a software developer.
