Salary: $118,800 - $198,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Work closely with quest and cinematic designers to understand their needs.
• Build and maintain story-related plugins to meet creative and technical goals.
• Ensure tools run efficiently without sacrificing performance for smooth design workflows.
• Write high-quality, optimized, and bug-free code aligned with project goals.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to effectively integrate tools across game systems.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional programming experience within the game industry.
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine 5.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome technical challenges.
• Ability to interpret the needs of less technical people and communicate workflow.
• Experience with Unreal’s cinematic sequencer.

Nice to have

• Previous experience working on Story or Quest tools.
