Public Relations Coordinator

Public Relations Coordinator: Supporting the Global Communications team, including consumer PR and brand reputation workstreams in the US, Canada and Europe with an accent on media coverage monitoring, media relations, campaign coordination, and materials creation. Focus on maintaining hirify.global’s brand reputation and supporting strategic priorities across geographies.

Location: Hybrid (Monday and Thursday) in our Seattle office

What you will do

• Actively participate in, support, and drive the ideation and implementation of consumer PR campaigns.
• Oversee day-to-day consumer PR activities, including "always-on" PR initiatives.
• Manage media relations by monitoring the PR inbox and flagging inbound inquiries, and pulling data for media inquiries.
• Own ongoing coverage monitoring and tracking, compiling weekly company-wide coverage reports, and updating press rooms.
• Provide administrative support for agency coordination, PR calendar management, and ad hoc influencer activity in European markets.
• Draft, review, and edit PR materials including press releases, blog posts, and campaign-related copy.
• Manage case studies by sourcing testimonies from pet parents, sitters, and walkers, and developing engagement best practices.

Requirements

• 2-3 years experience supporting public relations and communications programs for consumer brands at an agency or in-house.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with superior attention to detail.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and creating process improvements.
• Understanding of appropriate PR conduct among written and broadcast media.
• Sharp critical thinking and problem-solving skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in media monitoring tools like Cision.
• Experience in an international support role.
• WordPress proficiency.
• Familiarity with influencer marketing and social media.
