What you will do

• Design and optimize AI-powered legal workflows and assistants.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Machine Learning Engineers to translate legal expertise into structured prompts and use cases.
• Work with Legal Engineering to evaluate customer use cases and turn them into scalable product features.
• Develop and maintain domain-specific knowledge frameworks across key legal areas.
• Create, validate training data, prompts, and evaluation sets for model reliability.
• Review and improve AI outputs for quality, accuracy, and tone.

Requirements

• Strong legal background with a law degree and preferably experience in a top law firm or in-house legal department.
• Good understanding of legal workflows, drafting standards, and professional legal approaches.
• Passion for AI and technology with curiosity for large language models in legal work.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to collaborate with engineering and product teams.
• Strong writing and attention to detail for AI-generated content.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, experimental environment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in legal tech, automation, data modeling, or prompt engineering.
