Senior Cloud & Information Security Engineer (Fintech): Designing, implementing, and operating secure cloud infrastructure using security-by-design principles with an accent on technical security posture, incident response, and regulatory compliance. Focus on embedding security into DevOps pipelines, managing IAM, and leading vulnerability remediation activities within a highly regulated fintech environment.

Location: flexible hybrid with visits in our offices in Gdynia, Warsaw, Kraków, or Rzeszów (Poland)

Salary: 1100–1400 PLN/day net + vat

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve the organisation’s technical information security posture across cloud and infrastructure.
• Design, build, and operate secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure) using security-by-design principles.
• Implement and maintain security controls including IAM, monitoring, logging, vulnerability management, and system hardening.
• Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code and automation.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and change management workflows.
• Lead technical penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security incident response.
• Provide technical input, evidence, and assurance to support audits and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering and information security.
• Excellent understanding of networking in on-premises and cloud.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) applied in practice.
• Experience with DevOps tooling, automation, and secure system design.
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or cloud security certifications are desirable.
