Associate Manager, Cloud Engineering

Salary: $130,000–$180,000

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for Beghou’s internal cloud environments.
• Architect and evolve secure, scalable, and resilient multi-cloud infrastructure leveraging AWS and Azure.
• Establish platform governance, operational standards, and automation frameworks for cloud operations.
• Manage and mentor a team of Cloud Engineers and DevOps professionals.
• Oversee cloud operations, ensuring uptime, observability, and reliability.
• Contribute directly to the design and deployment of cloud infrastructure and IaC frameworks.

Requirements

• 8–12 years in cloud/infrastructure engineering, with 3–5 years in leadership, architecture, or platform management.
• Proven experience managing AWS and Azure environments for customer-facing applications/data services.
• Deep understanding of networking, identity, security, and automation in multi-cloud environments.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code, DevSecOps, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills (Python and/or PowerShell).
• Experience with AWS (VPC, EKS/ECS, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, KMS, RDS, Lambda) and Azure (App Services, Virtual Machines, SQL Database, Blob Storage, IAM, AKS, Azure Firewall, Policy, Monitor, Key Vault, Defender).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently and without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience managing customer-facing SaaS, analytics, or data platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud compliance and governance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
• Understanding of cloud financial management (FinOps) and cost optimization practices.
