What you will do

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for 400+ employees across multiple entities and regions.
• Ensure payroll is accurately recorded through journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Process high volumes of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper approval and coding.
• Support equity and stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718, including grant tracking, expense calculations, and disclosures.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.
• Support annual audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a high-growth, technology, SaaS, or adtech environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, particularly related to payroll, compensation, expense, and equity accounting.
• Experience working with multi-state and/or international payroll.
• Familiarity with stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718 and experience using equity management platforms such as Carta or Shareworks.
• Experience with accounting software (Sage IntAcct, NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred) and proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, XLookups, financial modeling).
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, and excellent organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Exposure to sales compensation structures and commission accounting.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
