What you will do
- Enable development teams to take ownership of product security and privacy.
- Collaborate to set requirements, standards, and help build security controls.
- Perform design reviews and vulnerability assessments.
- Develop high-quality code for extensive tasks and lead system and architecture design.
- Contribute significantly to company-wide systems architecture.
- Provide guidance to developers and architects on secure coding, architectural design, and best practices.
- Oversee the vulnerability management program, conducting routine assessments and prioritising resolutions.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in security testing for systems, applications, and networks.
- Create and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience securing a cloud-native environment, especially DevSecOps.
- Background in threat modelling and security architecture/secure design.
- Awareness of security and privacy standards (e.g., ISO27001, SOC1, CyberEssentials, GDPR).
- Technical experience working with cloud computing providers such as GCP or AWS.
- Technical leadership qualities, setting direction and supporting team development.
Nice to have
- Cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, or Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
