hirify.global is hiring for a high-growth client in the crypto-finance space, a remote-first startup focused on digital assets and decentralized finance.

What you will do

• Transition core accounting and reporting functions from outsourced providers to internal processes.
• Lead the month-end close and oversee timely production of management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements across multiple international entities.
• Build and implement finance policies, control frameworks, and documentation processes.
• Develop and maintain core financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, tax, and year-end processes.
• Evaluate, implement, and optimise financial systems and tools to support scalability.
• Coordinate external tax, audit, and regulatory compliance efforts across jurisdictions.
• Stay current with developments in crypto-related accounting and provide actionable insights to leadership.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong grounding in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Prior experience managing and configuring finance systems end-to-end.
• Background in startups, FinTech, SaaS, or other high-growth businesses.
• Demonstrated experience building processes, teams, and systems from scratch.
• Fluency in English is essential.

Nice to have

• Experience with US GAAP and/or crypto/digital asset accounting.
• QuickBooks experience.
• Exposure to international accounting and transfer pricing issues.
