What you will do

• Own, define, and optimize the end-to-end firmware triage process, prioritizing and tracking incoming defects in DFM and SSD layers.
• Lead technical investigations into critical firmware failures, utilizing expertise in embedded systems and NAND flash to identify root causes.
• Synthesize product quality insights by designing and maintaining Jira dashboards and analytics platforms for reporting to leadership.
• Streamline engineering feedback loops using CI/CD systems (Jenkins) and scripting (Python) for automation.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers to refine triage priorities and propose systemic process and technical improvements.

Requirements

• Strong, in-depth technical knowledge of SSD technology, NAND flash media, and FTL within embedded storage systems.
• Highly proficient in advanced debugging and root cause analysis using embedded debugging tools and crash dumps.
• Proven track record of leading and optimizing technical triage or debug processes across distributed engineering teams.
• Expert capability in using analytics platforms (e.g., Jira) for data processing and informed decision-making.
• Solid experience utilizing Python or similar scripting languages for automation and data analysis.
