What you will do

• Design and coordinate complex human-in-the-loop data collections, defining quality targets and deliverables.
• Design and conduct data creation tasks using synthetic and model-based generation methods.
• Analyze large datasets and extract insights to drive innovation.
• Build tools and prototypes for data analysis or creation, primarily using Python.
• Utilize modeling tools to bootstrap and test new AI functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate AI model performance.

Requirements

• Master's degree or above in Computational Linguistics or an equivalent field.
• 2+ years of experience in computational linguistics, language data processing, or AI data creation.
• Experience owning and executing language data collection projects, including guideline and workflow development.
• Proficiency with scripting languages like Python.
• Experience working with speech, text, and multimodal data in multiple languages.
• Excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and a detail-oriented approach.
• Work authorization for the USA is required.

Nice to have

• PhD in Computational Linguistics or an equivalent field.
• Expertise in bootstrapping AI data collections for quickly evolving requirements.
• Practical experience with Machine Learning and technical concepts such as API.
• Familiarity with version control, agile development, database queries, and data analysis processes (SQL, R, Matlab).
