Senior AWS + Python Engineer

You’ll become part of a strategic engineering and analytics team building and evolving cloud-native solutions for financial intelligence platforms. The work is centered around scalable AWS architectures, automated infrastructure, and reliable performance under high data volumes. The team values independence, strong engineering practices, and deep technical ownership across DevOps, backend systems, and cloud platforms.

Required Skills:
-Strong DevOps background with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
-Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, and messaging systems like Kafka
-Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, ideally GitHub Actions
-Solid knowledge of Docker, Linux containers, and infrastructure automation
-Understanding of monitoring and logging systems
-Experience developing and debugging JVM-based applications (Scala preferred) and Python services
-Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and data-heavy backend architectures

Nice to Have:
-Experience with cloud cost optimization and security best practices
-Exposure to performance tuning in distributed systems

What You’ll Do:
-Design, automate, and support scalable cloud environments on AWS
-Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
-Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters running microservices
-Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting
-Configure and support PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Kafka for stable performance
-Contribute to backend development in Scala and Python
Develop APIs, microservices, and data pipelines tightly integrated with the DevOps ecosystem
-Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, production-grade solutions
