TL;DR

Location: Fully Remote (Poland, CET timezone)

What you will do
- Build, automate, and maintain scalable AWS-based cloud environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for reproducibility.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for scalable microservices.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting.
- Configure and maintain PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Kafka.
- Contribute to backend development in Scala and Python, including APIs, microservices, and data pipelines.
Requirements
- Strong DevOps expertise in AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Experience with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and queues (Kafka).
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions preferred).
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and Linux.
- Experience in development and debugging of JVM-based applications (Scala preferred) and Python applications.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and data-intensive backend systems.
- Fluent English proficiency (C1+).
- Candidate must be located in Poland and work within CET timezone.

- Experience with cost optimization and cloud security best practices.
- Familiarity with distributed system performance tuning.
