What you will do

• Build new services using Golang to meet critical product and business needs.
• Design scalable systems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
• Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend systems and their operational teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to define product and technical roadmaps.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven ability to design, build, scale, and maintain production services, composing a service-oriented architecture.
• Capacity to write high-quality, well-tested code.
• Passion for building an open financial system.

Nice to have

• Experience with rapid growth in a company (startup to mid-size).
• Experience with growth experiments or A/B testing frameworks.
• Experience with Blockchain technology (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
• Experience decomposing a large monolith into microservices.
• Familiarity with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Experience building financial, high reliability, or security systems.
