What you will do

• Lead regulatory compliance and act as the approved CCO/MLRO with the Central Bank of the UAE, managing license applications, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve compliance frameworks covering AML/CFT, consumer protection, and cybersecurity.
• Oversee customer fund safeguarding, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and suspicious activity reporting.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to embed compliance controls in digital payment products and vendor integrations.
• Manage incident and complaint investigations with regulatory and reputational impact.
• Deliver AML/compliance training and promote a culture of transparency and ethical conduct.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Dubai, UAE with hybrid work arrangement
• 8-10+ years in compliance or AML roles within financial institutions, preferably fintech or payment institutions.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or related field and relevant AML certifications (e.g., CAMS, ACAMS).
• Experience working with UAE regulatory authorities (CBUAE, DFSA, FSRA, SCA).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with ability to work under pressure.
• Proven ability to lead compliance programs and liaise with regulators independently.
