Middle Golang Software Engineer (Go): Design and develop back-end systems and services for a fast-growing international calling business with an accent on modern design patterns, microservices architecture, and database interaction. Focus on optimizing applications for speed and scalability, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring security and integrity.
Location: Remote work flexibility – work from anywhere. Perfect office spaces are available if you are in Belarus and Moldova.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems and services.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the security and integrity of applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
Requirements
- 3+ years of production experience in Go or another BE language.
- Understanding and proven experience applying modern design patterns, especially SOLID, DRY, and KISS.
- Experience in designing and maintaining complex systems, DDD, EDA, and microservices.
- Experience in building REST, gRPC, and/or GraphQL communication interfaces.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Couchbase) and Kafka.
- Knowledge and experience with Docker and Git.
- English: B2 or higher.
Nice to have
- Experience in building sustainable event-driven systems from scratch.
- Experience in AWS and CDK.
- Experience with GitHub actions and other CI/CD solutions.
