What you will do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain multi-tenant backend services/APIs using Go (Golang) and gRPC, running in Kubernetes with Postgres.
• Perform data modeling (database, canonical product data model) with a focus on performance and multi-tenancy.
• Design APIs following Google AIP standard, considering multi-tenancy.
• Design and present architecture changes via ADR, adhering to architectural guidelines and principles.
• Create and maintain integrations between backend services and multiple SaaS systems.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to standards, and provide L2 support for debugging and optimization.
• Proactively own backend services to quickly spot and fix production issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years strong experience in backend development with Go (Golang).
• Solid understanding of concurrency, data structures, and backend fundamentals.
• Experience designing and consuming APIs.
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or equivalent).
• Proficiency with Git-based workflows and unit/integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Exposure to Kubernetes.
• Experience with GCP cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of caching, messaging, or streaming tools (e.g., Redis, Kafka).
