Social Media Manager

We’re seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Manager to support and grow WHY.CGI’s social presence. This role works hands-on with content creation, trend development, and platform strategy under the guidance of the Social Media Lead. You’ll play a key part in shaping how our work show up in feeds and communities.

Key Responsibilities
 - Assist in day-to-day social media management (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest etc.)
 - Create, schedule, and publish content based on internal guidelines
 - Use AI and automation tools to support social media workflows and to spot trends, platform shifts, and viral formats
 - Generate content ideas and help build structured content plans
 - Write clear, engaging captions and texts and adapt content in English
 - Support community engagement (comments, DMs, interactions)
 - Monitor post performance and assist in reporting insights
 - Write articles, posts, and editorial-style content for social platforms and website use
 - Research, identify, and support outreach to influencers, creators, and potential collaborators aligned with the brand
 
 Requirements:
 - 1+ years of experience in social media management or a related role
 - Strong understanding of social platforms and how content performs
 - Experience with AI and automation tools for social media (e.g. ManyChat, Linktree or similar)
 - Experience working with social media scheduling tools (e.g. Later, Meta Business Suite)
 - English proficiency B2 or higher (both written and verbal)
 - Confident use of Canva, Figma, Video Editing Programs
 - Comfortable following and working within content guidelines
 - Fast learner, highly proactive, and self-organizedTrend-driven, structured, detail-oriented, and reliable
 - Experience working with Slack and work management systems Monday.com
 
 Nice To Have:
 - Background in graphic design
 - Experience working with creative or digital studios
 - Understanding of social media analytics
 - Experience with AI video generation tools (e.g. Freepik AI, Runway, or similar)
