Salary: $148,800–$175,000 USD

What you will do

• Own design and delivery of complex features for the Development Infrastructure team, contributing to its roadmap.
• Set up local development environments for engineers at Abnormal Security platform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and other build tools.
• Provide Engineering with the tools and workflows to develop changes reliably with less effort.
• Actively participate in stopping cybercrime with AI.
• Participate in planning, code reviews, standups, and other aspects of the software development life cycle.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience as a hands-on engineer building backend systems and/or platforms.
• 2+ years of experience working with Python.
• Experience working on or with teams like Engineering Effectiveness, Engineering Productivity, Development Experience, or Development Infrastructure.
• Customer obsession, including defining roadmap based on internal engineer needs.
• Experience working on complex projects and delivering them end-to-end.
• Work authorization for Canada or the USA is required. Additionally, candidates must be eligible to access controlled technology under U.S. export control laws, with employment conditioned on government authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience with creating and maintaining CI/CD systems.
• Experience with Bazel.
• Experience with GO and security.
