Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack): Building and optimizing high-load web experiences for over 500M users across hirify.global, Office, and Windows with an accent on technical leadership, full-stack development, and modern cloud-based architecture. Focus on designing, coding, and operationalizing services at hyper scale and driving daily habit with users.

Location: Hybrid in Redmond, United States. Employees within a 50-mile commute of a designated Microsoft office in the U.S. are expected to work from the office at least four days per week.

Salary: USD $119,800 – $258,000 per year.

What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders to develop a portfolio of services.
• Provide technical leadership to key projects and collaborate across teams.
• Design, code, and operationalize services at hyper scale.
• Troubleshoot difficult and complex issues.
• Ensure robust support using effective telemetry and incident response processes.
• Lead initiatives to achieve security, privacy, safety, and accessibility across multiple solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• 4+ years of experience in full-stack development and software architecture positions.
• 4+ years of experience in designing scalable, maintainable, and efficient online service architectures utilizing cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years.
• 4+ years of working experience in large scale system architecture, design, development, testing, and release.
• Demonstrated programming skills and knowledge of architectural patterns for large, high-scale applications.
• Experience of leading big initiatives spanning multiple teams and organizations and leveraging deep domain expertise.
• Excellence in software engineering practices, coding, data structures, algorithms with demonstrated testing, debugging and analytical skills.
