Location: Remote freelance within ±2h of Budapest (CET). Must be legally able to invoice under Hungarian law.

hirify.global is looking for talented artists to bring the stylized fantasy world of the Magic: The Gathering Netflix series to life.

What you will do

• Take shots from start to finish, including lighting, rendering, and final compositing.
• Follow established "look-dev" and creative direction for visual consistency.
• Work within our pipeline using Gaffer and Nuke to manage AOVs and complex node-based setups.
• Partner with the Lead Artist and CG Supervisor to troubleshoot technical issues and refine the workflow.
• Actively participate in dailies, incorporating feedback to meet high-quality standards.
• Ensure all lighting rigs and comp templates are maintained and used efficiently.

Requirements

• Legal: Freelancers or contractors legally able to invoice under Hungarian law.
• Good knowledge of Gaffer or similar node-based 3D lighting scenes (e.g., Katana or Solaris).
• Good knowledge of Arnold or similar path-tracing engines.
• Good in Nuke or similar node-based compositing experience, specifically for stylized content.
• Strong understanding of light, color, composition, and stylized rendering.
• Good English skills (spoken and written).
