What you will do

• Mentor and coach a diverse team of engineers, fostering learning and high performance.
• Own end-to-end execution of the team's roadmap, ensuring high-quality project delivery aligned with architectural goals.
• Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize backlog.
• Drive improvements in system reliability and on-call health for mission-critical gateway services.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing software engineering teams.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience maintaining production services and a commitment to building observable, reliable systems.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS), or high-performance proxy technologies.
• Familiarity with Rust or Go.
• Background in cybersecurity or Zero Trust.
• Experience managing remote or geographically distributed teams.
