Salary: $220,000–$247,500

What you will do

• Develop and coach a team of highly-engaged designers, instilling ownership and impact.
• Provide direction and guidance for product designers' output, promoting partnerships and design process.
• Collaborate with engineering and product management leaders to influence product strategy and ensure world-class execution.
• Define and refine design portions of the roadmap with Staff+ designers and cross-functional partners.
• Set a strong pace for the team and foster a culture of quality, balancing holistic thinking with feature impact.
• Drive design excellence within the team, mentoring designers on user-centric thinking and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Design Manager or leading at least 2 Product Designers.
• 6+ years experience in multi-platform digital products as a Product Designer, especially with mobile product development and consumer products.
• A portfolio of designed and shipped work, plus examples of work directed by your team.
• Proven enjoyment of people leadership, including recruiting, training, and organization design.
• Strong eye for design craft, identifying areas for improvement in visual or interaction design.
• History of strong partnerships with engineering and product management leadership.
