Salary: CAD $153,300 – CAD $229,020 per year

What you will do

• Act as the Product Owner for the gameplay team within the competitive landscape of a Sports Video Game.
• Evaluate progress and game quality, partnering with Production to revise plans and drive execution.
• Build and grow your team with talented Gameplay and System Designers.
• Lead your team to craft the gameplay experience, managing design processes and documentation.
• Inspire and align the Studio on your gameplay vision, collaborating with Engineers, Animators, and Artists.
• Mentor and manage your design team, fostering positive morale and a healthy team culture.
• Contribute individually when time allows, demonstrating strong gameplay experience delivery.

Requirements

• Passion for Sports and Sports Video Games is essential.
• Experience directing and delivering high-quality 'second-to-second' game experiences.
• Demonstrated experience with systemic game design.
• Experience leading a design team (5+) and directing a sizable development team (20+).
• Familiarity with animation technology (Blend techniques, Masking, Procedural Animation, etc.) and experience working with Animation Software Engineers and Animators.
