What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers and cross-functional teams to enhance the platform.
- Build and integrate REST APIs and work with relational and document databases.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with automated testing.
- Implement authentication and identity workflows.
- Work with containerized applications and support DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Strong backend development skills with TypeScript and Node.js, including architecture and best practices.
- Proficiency with frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Tailwind).
- Experience building REST APIs and working with PostgreSQL, MongoDB/DynamoDB.
- Skilled in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code with unit, component, and end-to-end testing.
- Understanding of authentication and identity providers.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), preferably in AWS, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills.
Nice to have
- Domain-Driven Design, Kafka, or event-driven architectures experience.
