What you will do

• Shape activity, safety, and health features for pet parents worldwide.
• Translate user needs into product features, from concept to production.
• Build scalable, robust algorithms that remain reliable in live environments.
• Leverage and integrate modern AI development tools and protocols.
• Mentor team members, share best practices, and foster a learning culture.
• Ensure high-quality code through rigorous reviews, testing, and maintainability focus.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in a Data Science role.
• Proven history of designing and deploying data science solutions in production (Cloud or Edge).
• High proficiency in Python and SQL with hands-on experience in pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow, MLflow.
• Familiarity with modern AI tooling, including coding assistants (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Strong knowledge of engineering best practices, including Git, CI/CD, and model monitoring/operationalization.
• Fluent English skills.
• Valid Austrian work permit.
