What you will do

• Work in a team of 4-6 engineers, product manager, engineering manager, and decision scientist.
• Apply Agile and Lean principles, selecting suitable methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
• Collaborate via GitHub pull requests and code reviews with fast deployment cycles.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Ruby, AWS, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Temporal, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; participate in on-call rotations to ensure 99.99% service availability.
• Take ownership of critical alerts and business metrics to support smooth money movement and payment integrity.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania
• Strong backend engineering skills with experience or interest in Ruby and/or Go.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment embracing experimentation and learning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in building complex systems and guiding architectural decisions.
• Leadership skills including mentoring and driving technical transformations.
