Focus on ensuring smooth money movement, ledger functions, and report integrations to support business logic and high integrity commitments.

Location: Hybrid in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania. Workation possible for up to 90 days per year, with 21 days outside the EU.

Salary: €6,542–€8,842 gross per month

What you will do

• Work in an Agile/Lean team focused on building payments solutions.
• Collaborate with other developers through GitHub pull requests and code reviews.
• Utilize AI tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Code to enhance code quality.
• Ensure high availability (99.99%) of services and participate in on-call rotations.
• Develop and maintain complex, scalable, and resilient core payments platform and capabilities.
• Write unit tests and contribute to integration and end-to-end testing.

Requirements

• Solid backend engineering skills with a pragmatic problem-solving approach.
• Familiarity with Ruby and/or Go is beneficial but not required.
• Deep understanding and experience in building complex systems and guiding architectural decisions.
• Ability to mentor and empower other engineers by sharing technical insights.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-domain teams.
• Continuous learning attitude and passion for technology.
