Employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week in locations where workplace policy applies, including San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo.

Salary: USD $189,600 – $380,400 per year

What you will do

• Contribute to the development of hirify.global's Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV).
• Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 engineers, driving projects end-to-end.
• Design and develop new AHV security features, such as confidential computing.
• Maintain and fix issues in AHV security features.
• Push for improved reliability, performance, and security of AHV.
• Lead the development of features from concept to market, interacting with open-source communities.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C, Python, and Rust programming languages.
• Experience driving large projects with a few engineers.
• Experience in security technologies like Secure Boot, AMD SEV, Intel TDX.
• Extensive knowledge of OS internals, particularly UNIX/Linux.
• Familiarity with x86 architecture, virtualization, storage, and network management.
• Experience developing software for Unix/Linux/BSD operating systems at the kernel and user levels.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of experience.
