What you will do

• Own the end-to-end development of technical projects to enhance system reliability, performance, or scalability.
• Write and refine production-level C++ code to solve bottlenecks within complex distributed systems or flash-management layers.
• Collaborate with a fellow intern and senior mentors to conduct rigorous code reviews, ensuring high standards for security and efficiency.
• Test and validate solutions using Python or Go-based automation frameworks to ensure measurable improvements to the Pure ecosystem.

Requirements

• Technical Foundation: C++ and a comprehensive grasp of Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and systems programming.
• Academic Progression: Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Computer Science or a related technical field, with a graduation date scheduled for 2027 and later.
• Execution and Ownership: Ability to navigate ambiguous technical problems and deliver high-quality, documented results within a 12-week project lifecycle.
• Collaborative Mindset: Effective communication skills and the desire to solve problems within a transparent, team-oriented environment.
• Location: Must work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure’s policies.
