Salary: $163,900–$215,000

What you will do

• Collaborate with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and stakeholders to define strategies for data ingestion, cloud infrastructure, application development, and observability.
• Serve as a technical SME, guiding architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
• Provide technical leadership for multiple initiatives, promoting engineering best practices.
• Design and implement reusable software libraries and components to accelerate development.
• Lead complex problem-solving to deliver scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and monitor software vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data science software engineering, building complex software systems (pipelines/services/backends/frontends), and developing backend applications with API services.
• 7+ years of Python software development experience.
• 7+ years writing complex SQL queries for relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, EC2, Lambda) and Terraform.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and Jenkins pipelines/GitHub Actions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with GenAI and Agentic AI.
• Experience deploying AI/ML services through AWS Bedrock and/or Bedrock AgentCore.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and Cloud IAM.
