What you will do

• Build high-quality front-end features using React and TypeScript, focusing on clarity, performance, and maintainability.
• Refactor legacy or complex areas of the codebase to improve readability and testability.
• Identify and fix issues across the stack, from front-end behavior to API calls.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver predictable outcomes.
• Provide thoughtful code reviews, offer technical guidance to less experienced engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Help shape the technical direction of the team through practical suggestions and hands-on implementation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience building front-end applications with React and TypeScript, and experience with complex or long-lived codebases.
• Ability to write maintainable, well-tested code and improve existing systems.
• Clear communication skills to explain technical details and trade-offs to both engineers and non-engineers.
• Takes ownership of outcomes, follows through on commitments, and holds to a high standard of reliability.
