What you will do

• Take architectural end-responsibility for the core platform.
• Design and build the configuration-driven workflow and data platform.
• Make architectural trade-offs between flexibility, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Define how domain logic is safely expressed through configuration and ensure multi-tenancy.
• Act as a sparring partner for other teams, safeguarding platform consistency and long-term vision.
• Remain hands-on, writing code for critical components and defining architectural boundaries.

Requirements

• Experience at staff, principal, or tech lead level in backend engineering.
• Proven architectural responsibility in complex software environments.
• 7+ years of experience with Java (17+) and Spring Boot in modern architectures.
• Comfortable working with abstract systems (config-driven, low-code, engine-style).
• Hands-on mindset and strong technical decision-making skills.
• Experience with cross-team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaaS platforms and multi-tenancy.
