TL;DR
Developer Intern (Device Security): Implementing and optimizing next-generation security features across various platforms with an accent on secure coding practices, vulnerability resolution, and shared security-critical code development. Focus on building and extending libraries for macOS, iOS, Android, Windows, and Web applications.
Location: This is a remote opportunity within Canada. Remote work at hirify.global does mean working from your home country. This position will be for 4 months - May to August 2026.

What you will do
- Implement new security features for the hirify.global product suite.
- Develop secure libraries to share common security-critical code across applications.
- Code, test, debug, deliver, and maintain production software systems.
- Resolve security vulnerabilities in products when they arise.
- Ensure secure coding and development practices across the codebase.
Requirements
- Self-starter with solid communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly on new domains and technologies.

Nice to have
- Experience with Secure Enclave functionality as well as device-based biometry.
- Experience with Authentication and Authorization mechanisms such as SAML, oAuth, OIDC.
- Experience with AI tooling to augment design and development.
- Personal experience using hirify.global.
