What you will do

• Lead the design of software applications and components, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Manage a software team to deliver functional safety software components for NXP MCUs/MPUs.
• Coordinate architecture, design, code, and test reviews.
• Lead and mentor engineers, fostering technical growth and career development.
• Manage staffing, resource allocation, and oversee software build and release processes.
• Interface with external development partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in embedded programming in C/C++.
• Proficiency in real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
• Strong knowledge of software development process models (Agile, traditional project management).
• Deep expertise in microcontroller/microprocessor architecture and hardware-software integration.
• 5+ years’ experience leading a sizable engineering team (>7 members).
• Fluent in English.
• Valid visa and work permit to work in Czech Republic required.

Nice to have

• Experience in functional safety software engineering (ISO 26262, IEC61508).
