Location: Fixed hybrid work model: 3 days a week in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in Vancouver, BC, Canada

Salary: $120,000-$170,000 CAD /year + bonus + equity.

What you will do

• Delivering new features and products for the hirify.global People Apps product lines, including a world-class AI Analytics product and an operational reporting product.
• Working with product to gather customer and market requirements and design new software features and solutions.
• Contribute expertise to help the team continuously innovate and improve technical processes and best practices.
• Leading and mentoring junior members of the team to grow their capabilities and confidence.
• Implementing scalable and maintainable designs for complex features.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• A strong academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field, with an excellent academic record in Computer Science courses.
• Excellent coding skills in at least one relevant programming language (i.e. JavaScript, Typescript, Java, Scala).
• Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Extensive professional experience developing user-oriented, workflow-heavy products.
• Ability to work quickly to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
