🦄 Description
We are looking for a Senior Gameplay Ability System Specialist to design, implement, and polish character abilities using Unreal Engine GAS. This role focuses on high-quality gameplay feel, multiplayer reliability, and close collaboration with the core development team on an online-oriented project.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Design and implement new character abilities using Unreal Engine Gameplay Ability System
• Polish and balance existing abilities for smooth and responsive gameplay
• Ensure correct multiplayer behavior including replication, prediction, and performance
• Debug and optimize ability-related systems
• Collaborate with the core development team through screen sharing sessions when needed
• Participate in at least one weekly call for planning and progress updates
📚 Required Skills
• Strong multi-year experience with Unreal Engine Gameplay Ability System
• Solid understanding of multiplayer networking and replication
• Proven portfolio or past projects, preferably MMO, RPG, or multiplayer titles
• Fluent English communication skills
• Availability for regular communication and screen sharing
👍 Nice to Have
• Experience with medieval fantasy RPGs or online co-op games
• Familiarity with performance optimization in Unreal Engine 5
