Senior QA Analyst (Gamedev)

TL;DR

Senior QA Analyst (Gamedev): Owning and executing the end-to-end test strategy for game features within cross-discipline teams with an accent on test planning, analysis, and execution across Unity, iOS, Android, and Amazon platforms. Location: Hybrid in London, UK (2 days per week in office, remaining days at home)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end test strategy for game features independently.
• Perform all parts of the fundamental test process: test planning, analysis, design, execution, and reporting.
• Perform testing in the Unity Editor and on-device across iOS, Android, and Amazon.
• Own testing for new code features, content additions, and live-ops updates.
• Inspect designs, concepts, wireframes, and code to analyze test requirements and risks.
• Communicate test details and risks to stakeholders clearly.

Requirements

• Experience in game testing or adjacent domains.
• Experience testing or building projects in Unity, with demonstrable Unity development skills and Editor knowledge.
• Experience working within a game studio as part of a cross-discipline embedded QA team.
• Strong emotional intelligence with a focus on self-awareness and empathy.
• An organized, analytical, and thorough approach to all tasks.
• Awareness of mobile device testing and familiarity with source control (Git).

Nice to have

• Demonstrable examples of personal game projects built in Unity with C#.
• ISTQB foundation certification or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field.
