TL;DR

Senior Java Developer (Java): Building and scaling new and existing backend products with end-to-end ownership of services, code, and outcomes, with an accent on designing and building scalable, robust applications in cloud environments. Focus on contributing to architecture, testing/automation, and delivering value quickly in a high-performing team.

Location: Hybrid (Stockholm, Sweden). Must be based in Sweden and hold Swedish citizenship, a valid work visa, temporary or permanent residency.

What you will do

Build and scale new and existing products with end-to-end ownership.
Ramp up quickly and deliver value on assignments (typically 6–24 months).
Work across the full tech stack (e.g., frontend, integrations, cloud, CI/CD, data flows) as needed.
Design and build scalable, robust applications in cloud environments.
Contribute to architecture and testing/automation.
Actively participate in a high-trust, high-performing team.

Requirements

5+ years of experience building backends with Java.
Cloud-native background using Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS/GCP/Azure, and Terraform.
Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
Based in Sweden: Must have Swedish citizenship, a valid work visa, temporary or permanent residency.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Nice to have

Experience with additional languages like TypeScript, JavaScript, Scala, Kotlin.
