Test Automation Engineer (Fintech): Building and optimizing scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks for financial crime prevention solutions with an accent on functional, regression, and performance testing. Location: Hybrid in Riga, Latvia (with flexibility to work from home)
Salary: up to 3500 EUR gross/month

What you will do
- Implement and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile Scrum teams (Developers, QA Managers, Product Owners).
- Apply Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) practices to improve test coverage.
- Write clean, maintainable automation scripts using modern programming languages and tools.
- Ensure test solutions are scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain across evolving product architectures.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in test automation within enterprise software development.
- Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code in languages such as Java or Python.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Good analytical, problem-solving skills, and understanding of infrastructure/cloud environments.
- Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
