What you will do
- Directly manage engineers, focusing on their growth, performance, and recruiting.
- Drive teamwork and daily rituals, ensuring accountability and business impact by adjusting culture and values.
- Maintain a long-term technical vision in collaboration with Engineering Leadership.
- Ensure team goals, outcomes, and culture align with the broader vision and facilitate cross-team collaboration.
- Be accountable for top-line business metrics within the domain.
Requirements
- Strong product, business, and metrics-driven mindset with a proven ability to deliver business impact.
- Proven engineering leadership experience managing 10+ engineers in product-led companies.
- Ability to lead effectively in fast-paced, complex environments, providing clear vision and direction.
- People-first leadership approach, with a strong track record of building high-performing teams and shaping culture.
- Strong technical judgment, including understanding software architecture and maintaining a long-term technical vision.
- Experience ensuring alignment across teams and thriving in ambiguity, ideally in startups.
- Fluency in English and strong interest in applying AI to product development.
Nice to have
- Past experience as a CTO or VP of Engineering.
