Software Engineer (Python)

TL;DR

Software Engineer (Python): Building and optimizing backend services for operations and support tools with an accent on implementing and supporting existing and new features for real production environments. Focus on navigating diverse technical landscapes, debugging complex codebases, and driving improvements in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office) in Vilnius, Lithuania. This role isn't eligible for relocation & immigration support.

Salary: 3,500–6,500 € (gross) per month.

What you will do

• Implement new and support existing features.
• Participate in development activities like code review and release.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and QA.
• Support services in production, including incident management.

Requirements

• Development experience in Python (Web) and Django.
• Good knowledge of RDBMS.
• Ability to read and extend existing complex codebases.
• Strong debugging skills, including profiling and identifying logic issues.
• Responsibility and self-sufficiency.
• Critical thinking.
• English: B2 level and higher required.

Nice to have

• Experience in code optimization.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DRF, Key-value databases, and Message Queue.
