Financial Data Engineer (Fintech): Building and optimizing an engineered finance system rather than manual spreadsheets and routines with an accent on redesigning and automating financial processes end-to-end. Focus on abstracting accounting and finance into logic, rules, and data models to build scalable, auditable, and transparent financial systems.

Location: Onsite in Stockholm, Sweden. Work permit sponsorship for existing permits only; new work permits not sponsored.

What you will do

• Design scalable, auditable, and transparent financial processes.
• Work hands-on with data, systems, and stakeholders across the organization.
• Question existing finance processes and redesign them.
• Automate financial processes end-to-end.
• Help turn finance into a software-engineered system, leveraging data engineering and applied AI.

Requirements

• Understand accounting and finance well enough to abstract them into logic, rules, and data models.
• Prefer building systems over running routines.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Must be based in Stockholm, Sweden.
• Existing work permit for Sweden can be sponsored/renewed; new work permits cannot be sponsored.

Nice to have

• Swedish language skills.
